Samsung, the No.1 smartphone brand in Sri Lanka, recently announced its partnership with SLT-Mobitel, to enable 5G technology on select Samsung devices from the first week of June. Samsung users are now equipped with the ability to use their 5G-enabled device on SLT-Mobitel’s network to experience the transformative power of 5G at SLT-Mobitel 5G test areas.

Samsung Galaxy smartphones are 5G devices supporting nos.12, 5G bands. This means that as the 5G network is being rolled out in Sri Lanka by SLT-Mobitel, they will support premium 5G technology. Even before the commercialization of the 5G network in Sri Lanka, Samsung has taken a leap to ensure its consumers are ready for the future by offering smartphones that support up to 12 5G bands – N1, N3, N5 , N7, N8, N20, N28, N38, N40 , N41, N66 and N78.
