Gripple produces overhead cable routing system for solar market

Gripple has launched its second line of products aimed at increasing both construction stage and O&M efficiency for solar EPCs, contractors and developers.

The CR-System range includes lightweight yet strong overhead cable routing devices capable of holding 11706mm2 of cable and can be stacked to increase capacity. Manufactured from polycarbonate, a UV stabilized and corrosion resistant material, their installation is far less disruptive to the environment than traditional methods and the position in the open air can help at the design stage to downgrade and reduce CSA on wiring used, providing further project cost savings over traditional trenching, as well as fewer fire safety concerns, O&M rectification work and plant expansions.

“At Gripple, we are a team of problem solvers, engineers and manufacturing experts,” says Dean Barlow, Product Manager. “We are constantly developing new solutions in response to feedback from our customers around the world in different industries. Having already seen an excellent response to our solar anchoring and bracing systems for frame stability and bifacial security solutions, we are delighted with our new line of cable routing solutions, which are already receiving positive feedback from from EPCs around the world.

Gripple is a 100% employee-owned company that also provides solutions for construction, civil engineering, utilities, agriculture, landscaping and seismic bracing applications.
